Short Description

The Vascular Technologist supports physicians during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures by operating advanced imaging equipment, maintaining a sterile procedural environment, and monitoring patient status throughout treatment. This role works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards, accurate procedural documentation, and efficient management of equipment and supplies.

HS or Equivalent Required

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school.
  • Associates degree preferred

License/Certification Requirements

  • Radiologic Technologist (RT) CertificationNew Jersey Department of Environmental Protection LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • IR cert preferred

Special Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Must demonstrate competency in the performance of vascular procedures
