Benefis Health System has a great opportunity for an Internal Medicine physician
to practice Hospital Medicine at our large community academic tertiary trauma
referral center located in Great Falls, Montana. We offer a wide variety of

Position Details
* Nocturnist shift (7p-7a), 7on/7off with dedicated advanced practice provider
support (7p-7a) and 2 physician admitters (7a-5p and 11a-9p)
* Epic EMR providing easy access to colleges and specialists
– dragon dictation
* Dedicated swing/nocturnist office space next to emergency department with
easy access to all areas of the system
* Average # of admissions 8-10 per night - not required to attend RRTs
or code blues but may be needed at NP request
* Great access to specialists with over 440 providers on our medical
staff representing 40 specialties, including: Neurosurgery, CVT Surgery,
Interventional Radiology, Interventional and General Cardiology, General
Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Inpatient
Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, and more!
* No procedures required and no ICU coverage as intensivists are in house
24/7 for consultation
* Oversight of Internal Medicine residents required
* Cover only 1 hospital with 349 acute care beds, admitting medical and
surgical patients 16 years of age and older (adult), excluding last
trimester obstetrical, and providing medical coordination and inpatient
management for surgical patients
