Key Responsibilities

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care to ensure the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness. Key duties include verifying safe medication administration, assessing critical medications, responding to palliative care needs, and conducting medication regimen reviews.

Requirements

Applicants must be currently licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and possess proven ability to foster strong partnerships within the healthcare team. Skills in critical thinking, organization, and time management are necessary, though previous Long Term Care pharmacy experience is considered an asset but not required.
