Key Responsibilities

The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular diseases for residents in skilled nursing facilities. They are also responsible for prescribing corrective lenses or medications and providing pre- and post-operative surgical care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and possess an active state license. Excellent communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach to elderly patient care are required.
