Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive psychiatric care such as evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent consultations, alongside documenting in the EHR and participating in individualized treatment plan creation. Providers must also evaluate patients for higher levels of care, educate patients on treatment adherence, and collaborate closely with the supervising physician.

Requirements

Applicants must be Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified and licensed to practice, with experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations. Essential qualifications also include excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
