Key Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive obstetrical and family planning care, including prenatal and postnatal health education and clinical treatment. They also manage diagnostic testing, formulate care plans, and perform vaginal deliveries while coordinating with the broader healthcare team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and possess valid California Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nursing licenses. Additionally, a Certified Nurse Midwife certification, current DEA licensure, and BLS certification are required.
