Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician supports the multi-disciplinary treatment team by providing direct patient care, performing safety rounds, and managing the milieu. They are responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, documenting patient status, and facilitating topic-specific groups.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current BLS certification and either have 2 years of patient care experience, an EMT certification, a Medical Assistant certification, or a High School Diploma. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, restraining patients when necessary, and maintaining therapeutic boundaries.
