Snapshot of Key Accountabilities of the Physician

  • Provide comprehensive women’s health care, including gynecology, family planning, sexually transmitted disease treatment, and mid-life services.
  • Deliver surgical services, including medication and surgical terminations, in accordance with PPFL standards and guidelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Chief Medical Officer and clinical staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support staff development through training, orientation, and coaching.
  • Provide clinical leadership while supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Lead research initiatives and contribute to service expansion strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with affiliate policies, industry regulations, and established quality standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient service.

Experience/Education of the Physician

  • Board-Certified MD or DO with a current Florida State License.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in women’s health or family practice.
  • Prescriptive authority with current licensure.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Commitment to quality health care, patient confidentiality, and excellent service.
  • Experience with colposcopies, LEEP procedures, and ultrasound services preferred.
  • Familiarity with surgical and medication terminations preferred.
  • Dedication to health equity and a patient-centered approach.
