Job Description

Cottage Hospital is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Urologist to join
our growing rural healthcare team in northern New Hampshire. This is an exciting
opportunity to provide meaningful, community-focused care in a critical access
hospital setting while helping expand access to specialty services for patients
throughout the region.

Working closely with medical staff, nursing leadership, hospital administration,
and interdisciplinary teams, the Urologist will provide high-quality patient
care services while supporting Cottage Hospital’s mission of delivering
exceptional, personalized healthcare close to home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urology services to patients in both outpatient and
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urologic conditions
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, nursing staff, and specialists to
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations
  • Accurately document coding and charges reflective of services provided
  • Maintain good standing with the Medical Staff Quality Committee
  • Perform additional duties as requested to support patient care and hospital

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited medical school program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology preferred
  • Current medical license through the State of New Hampshire or ability to
  • Active DEA certification/number
  • Previous acute care or specialty practice experience preferred
