Job Description
Join Our Team as a Dermatologist
Cottage Hospital is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Dermatologist to
join our growing outpatient specialty services team. This is an exciting
opportunity to build a thriving dermatology practice while making a meaningful
impact in a rural healthcare community.
The Dermatologist will provide comprehensive medical dermatology services for
patients of all ages, evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide
range of acute and chronic conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
Working collaboratively with primary care providers, specialists, and other
healthcare professionals, the Dermatologist will play an important role in
improving access to high-quality specialty care throughout the region.
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive skin examinations, developing
individualized treatment plans, diagnosing and treating skin cancers, performing
office-based procedures, interpreting diagnostic testing, and educating patients
on disease prevention, treatment options, and skin health.
Common conditions treated include acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea,
skin infections, hair and nail disorders, autoimmune skin conditions, benign and
malignant skin lesions, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancers.
This position offers the opportunity to develop long-term patient relationships,
practice evidence-based medicine, and provide specialized care in a
collaborative environment where quality, continuity, and community matter.
