Key Responsibilities
- The Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients to help improve their mental health and reduce the risk of recidivism.
- Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.
- Working with inmates to prepare them for reintegration into society, providing support for finding housing, employment, and other resources.
- Providing counseling and support to help inmates manage emotional challenges, cope with incarceration, and develop coping mechanisms.
