Key Responsibilities

The primary duties involve assisting a licensed pharmacist with technical tasks related to medication preparation, distribution, labeling, and inventory control, including handling hazardous drugs and controlled substances. Responsibilities also include screening phone calls, performing compounding/admixture when applicable, and handling patient demographic information and cashiering duties.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and maintain state board of pharmacy registration or licensure, along with CPhT or ExCPT certification. Typically, one year of relevant work experience is required, with two years of retail pharmacy experience being highly preferred.
