Behavioral Health Consultant

Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Consultant provides behavioral health consultation to diverse populations to improve psychosocial functioning, which includes comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This role also involves providing consultation and brief intervention for psychological issues and assisting the primary care team in developing care management processes.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field, or a Master’s Degree and licensure in counseling, social work, or a related field. A minimum of two years of counseling experience and experience delivering behavioral health services, along with knowledge of DSM-V, are required.
