Patient Companion - Behavioral Health

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Companion provides compassionate care by assisting patients with daily activities and monitoring those at high risk for falls or acute behavioral struggles. They also support clinical staff by documenting patient status, collecting specimens, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have completed a hospital-based patient companion training program or equivalent experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients is required.
