Registered Dietitian (Full Time) - Various Clinic Locations

Join UNLV Medicine as a Registered Dietitian (Full Time) - Various Clinic Locations in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position is responsible for providing nutrition management services in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The position will work as part of a care team at UNLV Health, including working with faculty, residents, and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments, plans and implements diet recommendations to children with special health care needs.

• Selects the appropriate feeding modality for the patient and accurately calculates nutritional needs. Changes to the nutrition plan of care are made according to findings in a timely fashion.

• Provides Nutrition consultation in the assigned interdisciplinary specialty clinics.

• Assumes a proactive role with patient/family education and patient/family satisfaction in the practice setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or related field required

• Completion of dietetic internship and trainee program or equivalent required

• Certified Nutritionist Specialist Certification preferred RESPONSIBILITIES

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $52K - $66.6K
