About the Role
Join UNLV Medicine as a Registered Dietitian (CDCES) - Internal Medicine in United States. This position is responsible for providing outpatient nutrition management services to patients in the UNLV Health Internal Medicine department. The position will work as part of a care team, working with faculty, residents, and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides diabetes self
- management education according to the ADCES Diabetes Care and Education Curriculum
- Provides Nutrition consultation in the assigned interdisciplinary specialty clinics
- Assumes a proactive role with patient/family education and patient/family satisfaction in the practice setting
Requirements
- Diabetes Care and Education Specialist Certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or related field required
- Completion of dietetic internship and trainee program or equivalent required RESPONSIBILITIES
