Job Description
The basic function of a staff physical therapist is to evaluate a patient or client’s physical function, establish an individual plan of treatment, implement the plan of treatment and reevaluate the patient’s condition for any change in status. Services in the outpatient sites are in compliance with regulations of governing agencies.
Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Current license to practice in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure. The ability to support an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care that crosses a comprehensive care continuum. BLS Provider.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Must be enthusiastic and have patience in working with a variety of personalities and disease entities. Must be able to work cooperatively with department personnel and health care team members. Must be able to motivate a patient to perform maximally.
Must be courteous and treat all patients with respect and dignity. Must care for patients as individuals by seeking out and responding to their personal needs, problems, and concerns. Must conscientiously maintain patient confidentiality.

The physical therapist is responsible for evaluating patient physical function and establishing and implementing individual treatment plans. They must reevaluate patient status and ensure outpatient services comply with governing agency regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physical Therapy and possess a current Pennsylvania license or eligibility for licensure. BLS certification and successful completion of HR clearances are required.
