PRN PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) – HOME HEALTH

We’re seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. In this role, you’ll help patients regain independence, improve mobility, and safely return to daily life—all from the comfort of their homes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

* Provide in-home therapy services under a licensed Physical Therapist
* Guide patients through personalized exercise and mobility programs
* Track progress and communicate updates to the care team
* Educate patients and families to support recovery and prevent re-injury

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

* Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Texas
* Current CPR certification (AHA)
* Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
* Home health experience (preferred)
* Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (a plus)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting patients

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-home therapy services under a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve mobility. Track patient progress, communicate updates to the care team, and educate families on recovery and injury prevention.

Requirements

Requires a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas, current CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Home health experience and familiarity with HomeCare HomeBase are preferred.
