Job Description

Under general supervision, plans and provides direct professional nursing care
for specified patients throughout the entire episode of service delivery as
defined by population and unit. Provides nursing services to patients and
families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse,
Connecticut Children's policies & procedures, TJC, and state & federal
regulations. The roles and responsibilities include clinical, logistic, and
administrative duties.   The Team Leader demonstrates autonomy, behavioral
health clinical expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Team Lead plans and provides direct professional nursing care for pediatric patients within the emergency and behavioral health unit. This role encompasses clinical, logistic, and administrative duties while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program and hold a current Connecticut Registered Nurse license. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and at least two years of clinical experience in pediatrics, emergency, or behavioral health settings.
