Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and education to school personnel in behavioral health topics (including mental health issues and substance abuse prevention) and trauma-informed approaches.

• Provide individual and/or group interventions and psychoeducation to students to develop positive coping and de-escalation strategies.

• Provide liaison services to foster positive relationships between the school and families.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in a social work or clinical counseling One to three years’ experience or training in social services.

• Experience working with children/youth and families with significant behavioral health needs.

• Ability to provide a strengths-based, client centered approach to service delivery.

• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation Personal Automobile Insurance.
