Key Responsibilities

The Nephrology Dietitian assesses the nutritional needs of patients with kidney disease and develops individualized nutrition plans to enhance their health and quality of life. They work within a multi-disciplinary team to educate patients and their families while monitoring responses to therapeutic nutrition interventions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have successfully completed a dietetic internship or supervised practice. A minimum of one year of clinical nutrition experience and a Registered Dietitian credential from the CDR are required.
