About the Role

as a Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician-Internal Medicine-GME in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Serve as a preceptor for the internal medicine residents’ continuity clinic, including overseeing patient care, ensuring high value, quality care is provided.
- Monitor residents' provision of care including orders, notes, follow up of results and messages, providing teaching, mentorship and corrective action where appropriate.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification (preferred) or eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Unrestricted medical license to practice in Illinois
- Prior experience in resident supervision and medical education is highly desirable.
