Advanced Practice Provider Family Medicine

Key Responsibilities

This provider will deliver medical care to patients within an inpatient psychiatric unit, formulating evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans for acute and chronic medical conditions. Responsibilities include ordering tests, prescribing medications, providing patient education, documenting assessments, and collaborating with the psychiatric team and other specialists.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a current state license as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), with two or more years of experience preferred. Eligibility for State Controlled Substance License and Federal DEA Certificate, along with current BLS Certification, are mandatory requirements.
