- Coverage Type: Scheduled + No Call
- Shifts needed to be filled: December 21–24; alternate options December 21–25 or December 21–27
- Shift Schedule:8a–5p with 1-hour lunch
- Patient Demographics: General Radiology / ER patients
- Patient Volume: Locums expected to read approximately 70–80 studies/day; current permanent radiologists average approximately 100/day
- % of Practice: General Radiology with occasional basic fluoroscopy
- Physician in Practice: Current permanent radiologists on staff
- Case Mix: General Radiology, primarily ER studies, with occasional basic fluoroscopy
- Procedures: Basic fluoroscopy as needed
- Other Info: In-hospital reads required; remote coverage is not an option
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active AZ License or IMLC
- Willing to license
- Board Certified in Radiology
- BLS required
- DEA required
- General Radiology experience
- Must be able to provide in-hospital coverage
- Must be able to perform/read occasional basic fluoroscopy
Key Responsibilities
The radiologist will perform general radiology reads, primarily focusing on ER studies and occasional basic fluoroscopy. The role requires in-hospital presence to manage a daily volume of approximately 70-80 studies.
