Key Responsibilities

The counselor provides individual counseling and case management services to patients receiving medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a certification or registration as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor in California or be eligible to obtain one. Proficiency in electronic health records and experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment are required.
