- Salary: $70,000 per year

As a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Provide treatment under the direction of the supervising occupational therapist and in accordance with each patient’s plan of care.
- Guide patients through therapeutic activities that support daily living and functional independence.
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Communicate with the occupational therapist and other care team members to coordinate care.
- Observe changes in patients’ abilities and report concerns to the supervising occupational therapist.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
A few must-haves for Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA):
- Current Colorado license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- At least two years of occupational therapy assistant experience; home health experience preferred
- Current CPR certification, including a hands on demonstration course
- Knowledge of applicable home health regulations
- Sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to care
