The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for the compounding and dispensing of prescribed pharmaceuticals under supervision, ensuring all medication is checked prior to dispensing and delivery. This role also involves supervising pharmacy staff, providing direction, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college, along with licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts by the hire date, and typically require two to three years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree (PharmD, MS, or MBA) and experience with QS1 systems.
