The Medical Social Worker assists patients and families with financial, social, and emotional concerns while providing services in accordance with the plan of care. They also coordinate with the healthcare team to communicate clinical status changes and implement interventions to reduce health risks.
Candidates must hold a master's or doctorate degree from an accredited school of social work and possess at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. A current CPR certification and compliance with state and federal requirements are also mandatory.
