Creative Spirit Counseling is seeking a growth-minded therapist to join our practice! Ideal candidates possess a passion for providing innovative and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The desire for continued education and collaboration is highly valued. Candidates will utilize creativity in their approach to mental health with a whole health mindset. Ideal candidates will have an understanding or desire for continued learning in treating trauma.

The mission of Creative Spirit Counseling is to provide a unique approach to mental health by allowing individuals to show up as they are. Creative Spirit Counseling strives to provide, thought, care, creativity, and humor as integral parts of the healing process. Creative Spirit Counseling works to develop unique approaches for each individual as no two individuals are the same and should be treated with dignity and worth. Emphasis is placed on the relationship with the client and not on the individual’s diagnosis.

Education and Required Skills
Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, clinical counseling or other related and pertinent field.
Minimum 1 year experience in providing outpatient mental health therapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families.
Knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for treatment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organization skills to maintain up-to-date clinical records.
Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws.

Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct Diagnostic Assessments to gather client information and develop treatment plans.
Develop treatment plans based on each individual's presentation and psychosocial needs.
Provide evidence-based, person-centered care to individuals, couples, and/or families.
Maintain detailed, confidential records.
Provide referrals for additional care or services.
Participate in a team atmosphere for moral, support, and encouragement for self and peers.
Maintain an appropriate work-life balance to promote self-care and provide excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families. Provide evidence-based, person-centered care while maintaining detailed and confidential clinical records.

Requirements

Requires a Master's or Doctorate degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field. A minimum of one year of experience in outpatient mental health therapy is required.
