Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) Full Time Day

Join Hope Health as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) Full Time Day in Newport, Rhode Island.

Key Responsibilities

• New consults and follow up consults  for seriously ill adults in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings including but not limited to homes, assisted livings, nursing facility, hospitals, clinics.

• Complete pain assessments and pain management recommendations for seriously ill adults.

• Assesses and makes recommendations to manage other non-pain symptoms including nausea, fatigue, dyspnea, anxiety.

• Assesses patient’s disease trajectory and co-morbidities and, in conjunction with treating physicians, formulates prognosis.

Requirements

• Current RI and MA licenses as RN and Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.

• Current RI and MA licenses for prescriptive authority, RI and MA controlled substance license, DEA license.

• Valid driver's license with and automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and is in good working order. What are the job
