The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will assess and reassess patients, formulate diagnoses, order and interpret tests, and collaborate with physicians on patient management, focusing on quality care and timely discharge. Responsibilities also include performing various technical procedures, assisting in surgery, and completing all necessary documentation and billing forms.
Candidates must be graduates of an NP educational program approved by New York State, holding current NP certification from AANP or ANCC, and possess current NYS RN and NP licenses. Required certifications include current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA, along with a current NYS prescription privilege and DEA number.
