Key Responsibilities
The optometrist will provide vision evaluations, perform refractions, and prescribe corrective lenses to students in underserved communities. They are also responsible for documenting patient diagnoses accurately within the internal systems.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid California Optometry License and be willing to commute throughout the greater Kern County area. Applicants are required to pass a Department of Justice background check, child abuse history clearance, and a drug test.
