The role involves delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care, including medication information, education, preparation, and distribution to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient therapy. This includes exercising sound judgment to implement the patient's plan of care based on diagnosis and gaining cooperation from patients and healthcare providers.
Candidates must have a PharmD from an accredited school and must obtain Pharmacist registration within 120 days, possessing knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and relevant laws and regulations. Preferred criteria include specialty pharmacy experience in a hospital setting and relevant Board Certification.
