Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant | Broad IR & Radiology Procedural Practice | Flexible Schedule | California's North Coast

Imagen is seeking a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our onsite interventional radiology team supporting a hospital system across California's North Coast.

This is a broad, high-volume procedural practice encompassing image-guided biopsies and aspirations, drainage procedures, vascular access, spine and musculoskeletal procedures, and a wide range of fluoroscopic and contrast-guided studies.

You'll work alongside onsite radiologists and Imagen's physician-led radiology group in an integrated procedural practice focused on patient care, clinical collaboration, and a high quality patient experience.

We're flexible on both schedule and home base. The role serves a health system spanning multiple hospitals across California's North Coast, allowing you to build a varied procedural practice while enjoying a predictable daytime schedule and the lifestyle of the North Coast.

Live Where You Want The role serves a network of hospitals across California's North Coast — we're flexible on which site(s) you cover and where you live. Napa Valley wine country, the Mendocino coast, and the Clear Lake / Ukiah communities are all options.

Your Day-To-Day

You'll perform IR- and FL-guided procedures across a broad North Coast case mix.

The bulk of the practice falls into five procedural areas:

Image-guided biopsies & aspirations — FL- and US-guided needle placement for biopsy, aspiration, and injection; fine-needle aspiration; bone marrow biopsy; percutaneous liver, muscle, and lymph node biopsies.

Fluoroscopic contrast studies — Barium swallow, esophagram, upper GI (single and double contrast), small bowel follow-through, double-contrast colon, retrograde urography, cystography, HSG, and common bile duct / biliary studies.

Image-guided drainage — Paracentesis, thoracentesis, percutaneous fluid collection drainage (peritoneal, retroperitoneal, visceral, pleural), abscess and cyst aspiration, and drainage catheter management.

Spine, neuro & MSK procedures — FL-guided arthrograms (shoulder, hip, knee), joint injections and arthrocentesis (with and without US guidance), lumbar puncture with FL/CT guidance, myelogram injections, and FL-guided spinal injections.

Vascular access — FL-guided PICC line insertion and replacement, contrast evaluation of existing central venous access devices, and tunneled central venous catheter management.

What You Bring

·       Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) in good standing (NCCPA) ·       Active California PA license, or eligibility to obtain ·       Experience with a broad IR / FL procedural scope — image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, GI contrast studies, joint injections, and PICC / vascular access preferred ·       Comfort working across inpatient and outpatient case volumes ·       Willingness to cover across multiple hospital sites on California's North Coast (schedule and site mix are flexible) ·       Strong communication and collaboration skills ·       Desire to work in a patient-facing, team-oriented hospital environment
