• Compensation: $80 – $90 per hour (based on experience)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health Urgent Care team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and is passionate about providing immediate, high-quality mental health care.

As a PMHNP, you will play a critical role in stabilizing patients in crisis, conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and risk evaluations

* Diagnose and treat a range of mental health and substance use disorders

* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

* Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

* Provide brief therapy, crisis intervention, and stabilization services

* Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical providers

* Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation

* Coordinate referrals and transitions to appropriate levels of care

Minimum Qualifications

* Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)

* Active, unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

* Board Certified PMHNP

* Minimum 3 years of psychiatric clinical experience; 4 years’ experience preferred

* Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in urgent care, crisis response, or emergency psychiatry

* Experience serving diverse and underserved populations

* Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages)
