Nurse Practitioners will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and develop client-centered care plans using a harm-reduction approach while providing accessible virtual/mobile substance-use care, including evidence-based treatments and pharmacotherapy. They must collaborate with various partners to ensure coordinated care, address social determinants of health, and maintain accurate documentation.
Applicants must hold current registration as an NP (EC) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a Master's degree, along with liability insurance, current BLS certification, and a vulnerable sector police check. A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is preferred, with expertise in harm-reduction, mental health, and substance-use treatments being essential.
