Key Responsibilities
The Medical Director is responsible for clinical policy development, utilization management, and conducting peer-to-peer clinical reviews to ensure quality care outcomes. They also serve as a consultant to internal teams and represent the company to external entities regarding medical policies and clinical guidelines.
Requirements
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical licensure and board certification from the ABMS or AOA. A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience is required, with a strong preference for experience in managed care and utilization management.
