Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist evaluates patients and develops appropriate treatment plans for those with critical medical conditions. They are responsible for performing endotracheal tube procedures and providing compassionate counseling to patients and their families.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC and possess current state licensure. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
