Key Responsibilities

The physical therapist will evaluate patient physical functioning, establish treatment plans, and administer manual exercises to help patients reach maximum performance. They are also responsible for documenting progress, supervising physical therapist assistants, and educating patients and their families.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree from an accredited physical therapy program, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required for those licensed from 2016 onward. A valid Massachusetts state license for a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
