Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will interview and examine patients to determine diagnoses, order and analyze diagnostic tests, and monitor medical equipment. Responsibilities also include recording medical histories, maintaining patient records, and training patients and families on illness prevention and management.

Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S. and possess a Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program, along with RN licensure and board certification (ANCC or AANP). Required authorizations include APN practice in family health and prescriptive authority.
