Mental Health Tech - Behavioral Health

Key Responsibilities

The Mental Health Technician performs patient care activities and supports the therapeutic treatment plan as part of a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for observing, recording, and reporting patient information to the Staff Registered Nurse.

Requirements

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and preferably one year of experience in a behavioral health unit. Required qualifications include BLS certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to obtain CNA certification within one year.
