Job Description
STGi is currently seeking an EAP counselor to support the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). The candidates should be located in the Washington, DC area (DC/MD/VA).
NGA promotes employee wellness through a proactive, multi-disciplinary approach to service delivery. The overall objective is to get maximum integration of all the health and wellness components Responsibilities included: Counsels and assists employees with issues affecting job-related performance and personal well-being. Evaluates and recommends outside treatment and counseling if necessary.
Key Responsibilities
The EAP counselor provides support to employees regarding job performance and personal well-being. They are responsible for evaluating individual needs and recommending appropriate outside treatment or counseling services.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field. A current, unrestricted state license as an LCSW or LPC is required, along with approximately 3 years of experience.
