About the Role

Join STGi as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) in United States. STGi is currently seeking a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) to provide services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic. JOB SUMMARY: The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) will be assigned to the Mental Health Service of the Hopkinsville VA clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Provides education to patients, family members, and significant others.

Consults with and serves as a resource for other professional personnel concerning the need for, evaluation of, and development of, psychological services.

May be asked to assist in the selection, training, and supervision of staff at lower grades within assigned program area.

Willingly accepts additional and special assignments that are necessary to meet program goals or Veteran needs.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program and hold a current, unrestricted Kentucky license for independent practice, including diagnosis and treatment. Preferred experience includes 1-3 years in Mental Health Counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting, along with BLS/CPR certification.
