Job Description

General/Body Radiologist | Build Your Own Schedule | Remote, Hybrid & Onsite | Texas

Flexible Schedule | Top-Tier Incentive Package & Fellowship Stipends Available | Partnership Opportunities

Practice Radiology on Your Terms

What if you could have more control over when, where, and how much you work?

Austin Radiological Association (ARA), a Radiology Partners affiliate, is seeking General/Body Radiologists to join our growing practice with multiple opportunities designed around different physician preferences and lifestyles.

Choose from remote, hybrid, or onsite practice and a variety of daytime and evening schedules. Whether you want a traditional full-time schedule, greater flexibility during the week, or the opportunity to increase your income through additional shifts and pay-per-click work, we offer options to help you build the practice that fits your life.

You’ll join a nationally respected, physician-led practice with a broad clinical footprint, strong subspecialty support, modern technology, and an established infrastructure designed to make practicing radiology more efficient.

Build Your Career Around Your Life

We believe flexibility should mean more than simply choosing between two shifts.

Our model gives you the opportunity to create a schedule that aligns with your priorities while maintaining access to strong clinical volume, competitive compensation, and long-term career growth.

For physicians seeking a more traditional lifestyle, Monday–Friday options with no required after-hours or weekend coverage are available. Physicians who prefer additional flexibility or increased earning potential can incorporate PPC work, additional shifts, call, or weekend coverage into their schedule.

Why Radiologists Choose This Opportunity

  • Build your own schedule
  • Choose where you work: remote, hybrid, or onsite
  • Choose when you work: daytime or evening
  • Broad General/Body Radiology case mix
  • Strong subspecialty support across Body, MSK, Neuro, Breast, IR, and more
  • Competitive compensation and incentive opportunities
  • PPC model with additional earning potential
  • Commencement & retention bonus opportunities
  • Partnership track opportunities
  • Fellowship stipends available for eligible fellows
  • Optional additional shifts for increased income
  • No requirement to take additional calls or weekend coverage
  • Established, high-volume practice
  • Unified PACS, standardized protocols, and streamlined dictation workflow
  • Robust technology and dedicated IT support
  • Physician-led culture focused on autonomy and clinical excellence
  • Academic affiliation with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin

The Opportunity

As a General/Body Radiologist, you will interpret a diverse range of diagnostic imaging studies within a highly collaborative and efficient practice environment.

Clinical Responsibilities May Include

  • General diagnostic radiology
  • CT interpretation
  • MRI interpretation based on experience and practice needs
  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray and radiographs
  • Body imaging
  • Emergency and acute-care imaging
  • Collaboration with subspecialty radiologists
  • Communication with referring physicians and clinical teams
  • Timely, accurate, high-quality diagnostic interpretation

Fellowship training in Body, MSK, Neuro, Breast, or General Radiology is welcomed. The case mix can be aligned with your experience, clinical interests, and practice needs.

Choose How You Practice

REMOTE - ENJOY THE FREEDOM OF WORKING FROM HOME WITHOUT THE DAILY COMMUTE, SUPPORTED BY AN ESTABLISHED REMOTE INFRASTRUCTURE, UNIFIED WORKFLOW, AND DEDICATED IT TEAM.

HYBRID - COMBINE THE FLEXIBILITY OF REMOTE PRACTICE WITH THE COLLABORATION AND COLLEGIALITY OF AN ONSITE ENVIRONMENT.

ONSITE - WORK ALONGSIDE EXPERIENCED SUBSPECIALTY RADIOLOGISTS IN A COLLABORATIVE READING-ROOM ENVIRONMENT WITH STRONG CLINICAL AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT.

DAYTIME OR EVENING - CHOOSE FROM MULTIPLE SCHEDULING OPTIONS BASED ON YOUR LIFESTYLE AND CAREER GOALS. WHETHER YOU PREFER TRADITIONAL DAYTIME HOURS OR AN EVENING SCHEDULE, WE HAVE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE.

More Flexibility. More Choice. More Opportunity.

Radiologists have different priorities—and those priorities can change over time. Maybe you want to spend more time with your family. Maybe you want to eliminate your commute. Maybe you want a predictable weekday schedule. Or perhaps you're looking for an opportunity to increase your income by taking additional shifts.

Your practice doesn't have to look like everyone else's. Build the schedule that works for you, then adjust it as your priorities change.

For those seeking a traditional schedule, Monday–Friday options without required after-hours or weekend coverage are available. For physicians interested in maximizing earning potential, PPC work, additional call, evening, or weekend shifts may be available.
