Job Description

Optometrist / Ophthalmologist – Independent Medical Evaluations

Wichita Falls, TX | Your Own Office | Per-Evaluation Compensation

The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct independent eye examinations focused on vision loss and visual impairment for our disability line of business. Perform exams in your own private practice office using your existing equipment. This is a flexible, evaluation-only opportunity with no treatment, prescribing, follow-up care, or on-call responsibilities.

Schedule: One day per month. If a full day isn't available, you can instead complete 1-2 exams per week.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
  • Perform visual acuity, visual field, automated perimetry, and related testing
  • Review medical history and documentation
  • Prepare objective, accurate medical reports

Qualifications

  • OD, MD, or DO with an Ophthalmology specialty
  • Active, unrestricted Texas license
  • Private practice office with the required testing equipment
  • Board certification preferred
