Key Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric leadership and physician oversight for utilization management, including medical necessity decisions and high-risk case management. Collaborate with clinical teams to develop medical policies, monitor quality improvement activities, and ensure the delivery of appropriate behavioral health care.
Requirements
Requires a board-certified psychiatrist with an active, unencumbered medical license in Texas and the ability to obtain additional state licenses. A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience in health care delivery, specifically within managed care or utilization review, is preferred.
