Pathologist

Key Responsibilities

The pathologist will perform individual diagnostic evaluation and sign-out of surgical pathology and cytology cases, with a focus on gynecologic specimens. They are also responsible for ensuring laboratory compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Medical Degree, be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and possess active medical licenses in Alabama and Georgia. Experience in a high-volume hospital or large referral laboratory is preferred, along with subspecialty training in relevant pathology fields.
