MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE OBGYN to join its OB Hospitalist service in Des Moines, IA. • Opportunity Details
• 7 shifts per month (24-hours)
• Flexible schedule
• No call
• Care for: OBED Patients & unassigned emergent patients (vaginal deliveries and C-sections)
• 1400 annual OBED visits; 1/3rd result in Delivery
• Access to subspecialists including MFM
• Iowa’s only maternal transport team
• Adjunct Faculty Family Medicine Residency

• Annual base salary of $400,000
• $150,000 recruitment incentive
• Moving allowance up to $15,000
• Paid malpractice with tail coverage

Mercy One Des Moines Medical Center is a 622-bed Level II Trauma center that has been faithfully serving the community since 1893. Averaging 3,000 deliveries per year, MercyOne Des Moines is equipped with a 44-bed Level III NICU, an 8-bed OB ED, 15 labor suites, and 40 postpartum recovery rooms.
