Key Responsibilities
The clinical pharmacist coordinates daily clinical pharmacy services and facilitates the development of new pharmacy workflows. They also supervise support personnel and ensure the implementation of safe, cost-effective drug therapies to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Pharm.D. degree and possess either a clinical residency with two years of experience or five years of clinical pharmacy practice. Current Illinois pharmacist licensure, CPR certification, and ACLS certification are required.
