Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist is responsible for filling and labeling prescriptions, dispensing controlled substances, and providing drug-related information to patients and medical staff. They also supervise pharmacy technical support staff and participate in medication use evaluation and process improvement programs.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy and hold a valid Registered Pharmacist license in the State of Texas. A minimum of two years of hospital pharmacy experience is required, along with knowledge of unit dose medication and IV admixture processes.
